This type of unsecured loan can carry certain risks and cause you trouble if you abuse it, so if you decide to use a credit card as an unsecured loan instrument, you should be cautious and pay off the bill as soon as it comes. You can get hit with interest charges that will send you to the poorhouse, and if you miss a payment the penalty charges mount up quickly.
